What are Exploration Groups?

We provide Exploration Groups to help answer this question:

“What areas are worth looking over for my situation, interests or needs?”

For each question, we provide some suggested links to help with your exploration.

Some Exploration Groups are more important to you with good reason: they will be more connected with who you are and your areas of interest. We aren’t all cut from the same piece of cloth!

We will add to these groups as time and resources permit.

Comments on Exploration Groups:

Environmental-Biosphere group. With current societal Climate Change and Biosphere concerns, we felt that it would be good to have this Major Category for readers interested in these areas. This applies to readers who are concerned about the climate, environment, pollution, welfare of living species (land, air, water) and related matters.

Additional Information

CR2 is architected to allow for discussion at many levels. Community, by its very nature, requires this.

Discussion includes sitting with family and friends; or, perhaps a single, in an apartment, thinking about next steps in their life.

It can involve a board room, City Hall or a government official responsible for Land Use and Permits. Practical expressions of Community might involve resources beyond what you have.

Discussions might involve corporate interests, PPP initiatives, or coordination with philanthropic interests.

If your need is on a more personal scale (e.g., an individual, a couple/family or a group of people exploring housing options and possibilities), you will find most of your content suggestions in the Personal or Small Group and Grass Roots category. We are great believers in small groups and grass roots initiatives. They can accomplish a lot.

Near Government organizations (e.g., Schools or Health Care facilities) will find relevant links under Public Sector – General. Public sector – General also includes municipal and county level.

Exploration Groups for the “closest fit” to your situation may not have all the factors you wish to look at. Sometimes, other Exploration Groups may provide insights worthwhile considering.

Land, Housing and Food involve everyone in a society.

Multigenerational and Age in Place

Multigenerational and Age in Place is an exciting area of content for us!

We believe, deeply, that there is tremendous value and strength in Villages and Neighborhoods. Here, as in days gone by and in other cultures and approaches—including Indigenous pathways—the Village was often a place of stability and wellbeing. People knew one another and helped one another.

Villages can be placed in various settings ranging from “off-grid,” country village settings, rural farming areas, to pockets within cities.

Start Up The Discussion

Interactions manages areas of discussion. Use social media channels freely as you desire.

Technology onboarding is in process along with the associated content generation. Additional dedicated resources (e.g, Forums) are contemplated.

Our Publications speak into these areas of interest to Exploration Groups.
