Vision for Community always begins by hearing. That can come from your heart. It might come in a dream. Or, perhaps someone spoke something that resonated with you. It might have been a discussion with some friends or family. Perhaps you visited a village that spoke to you.
Visions grow from tiny seeds.
Vision establishes a suggested pathway to help establish your Community Vision and then make it a reality. We will define what we mean by Community. Practical considerations (like Affordable Housing and Food) are part of this. The setting of Community Vision applies equally to rich or poor.
Vision invites reflection and discussion on “where things are at.”
Those reflections and discussions are invaluable as you work out a Vision for you and your team. Understanding these shaping factors help prepare you for the best possible expression of Community.
