Current Approaches Have Limitations

Time to Reimagine and Rethink

New approaches that embrace Community principles—not just row after row—are needful.

We must step back and return to lost principles coupled with new thinking.

Diversity

You too can have any shape and color you want. Just add some sprinkles and paint it up with icing.

Welcome to the world of mass-produced whatever. Including cookie-cutter gingerbread houses.

Apparently, it’s cheaper (hint: more profitable for <fill-in-the-blanks>).

Well, that depends on your assumptions … especially when it’s all black and white.

Change your paradigms and assumptions and cost structures can change (in beneficial ways).

Sameness

There are patterns as well as apparent “randomness.”

Pursue principles in Reimagine – Rethink Community with your team. Discover new ways of thinking.

Start by removing money and longstanding policy constraints from the equation. Temporarily step away from these and ask foundational questions. Ask yourself, “What if …?”

Allow boundaries in thoughts to shift focus and permit softer gradients of transition. Think outside the box. Go for a hike or enjoy a fireplace’s dancing flames: find your creative zone.

Yes, we know that resources, practical matters, must land back on the table for a viable project. We also know that you must work with the policies of the country, area and jurisdictions you live in.

Sometimes, however, answers come in ways beyond money … beyond policies.
