CR2 is a Framework and Ecosystem

>

We don’t prescribe a specific form of Community.

We don’t mind if you are repurposing existing high-rise office buildings, creating rural villages for refugees, or building out Cohousing or an Ecovillage.

We provide frameworks and ecosystems to help you in your endeavor.

Many of our principles can be applied in an organizational, team-building and vision-development setting. This Portal, however, is more focused on helping people and organizations with Community as we define it.

Principles and Places

>>

We write and speak into topics that are intended to assist you in the formation of Communities.

While specifics are necessary in the development of Community, we know that principles are more important than a place (realtors and developers can label that last statement as cringe-worthy: Location, location, location!).

In the Same Breath: Details

>>

Good architects understand the Big Picture.

From there they drill down into details like the sizing of water lines and capacities of HVAC systems.

Similarly, in understanding and grasping Community, we begin with Big Picture factors. From there we work outwards to the details.

As we build out content, you will see this theme in play. We need structures to house content. Knowledge and information needs architecture just as much as a well-architected building or house.

There are areas in our content where we have more focus on growing our “infrastructure.” That doesn’t mean we have lost sight of details!
