Help Make it Happen

Doors of Exploration Await You

Topics of interest for developers, philanthropists and visionaries (with or without capital) abound on this site and in our content. We encourage ethical corporate social responsibility and involvement. This site and our content helps to provide bridges and an ecosystem or framework to facilitate Community involvement in your area of interest. We believe our approach helps to create win-win situations, PPP initiatives, and projects you can be proud of. We understand core human needs to participate in initiatives that are humanitarian, socially conscious and leave honorable legacies.

We also recognize the considerable importance of initiatives that are sustainable and financially viable.

There’s a lot more going on than “just another development …”

We advocate for, and have a special interest in grassroots-level projects: not just those by the wealthy, well capitalized or well connected.

We speak–with clarity and courage–into motivations (including charitable and financial) on this site. We are not direct facilitators in initiatives. Rather, we encourage readers and stakeholders to connect one with another. We encourage you to give due consideration to the values and approach on this site and in our literature.

We sell our written content (e.g., books) in The Village Marketplace or through other channels to help fund content development.

We speak into Community Planning—rural, regional and urban—exploring creative pathways and approaches.

Our encouragement of grassroots initiatives follows.

We are an educational and public service website.  As noted above, we have a special area of interest in grassroots initiatives.

At times, grassroots-level initiatives lack the funding needed to bring vision to pass.  Desire and heart is present—willing hands and hearts—but how to get from A to B is a BIG question!

Grassroots and smaller-scale initiatives are often concerned about motivations, undue control, values and other factors within funding or capital providers. Questions arise like:

  • “Are there strings attached?”
  • “Is this another fancy greenwashing strategy? Will we be used and taken advantage of? We don’t want to lose our environmental, traditional and biosphere values!”
  • “Several within the corporate and government track record have challenges that concern us. Deeply. Chasing after money and power leaves us concerned about the end game! We’ve seen the pattern …”

These are all valid concerns and considerations. We speak into those topics. Openly. This website provides an introduction to our style of writing. Our publications go deeper.
